Born 1903. At 15 had small part in "Luck of the Navy." appeared in the silent film, "Happy Ending." Her talking pictures are "Head Waiter," "Man of Mayfair," and "Rome Express," and she has the title role in "Sally Bishop." 

 

Joan Barry (1902 - 1989).  Barry is best known to film buffs for providing the voice for the heavily-accented Anny Ondra in Britain's first talkie Blackmail. One of the first of Hitchcock's blondes, Barry starred for him in Rich and Strange. Despite her success, Barry retired in 1934 when she married a banker. Sensible girl!
