Born in London, 1863. Unmarried. First stage appearance, "She Stoops to Conquer"; first silent picture was "Beauty and the Barge," Talkies: "Rookery Nook," "A Night Like This," etc. fond of animals. Hobbies: motoring and gardening. White hair, blue eyes.

 

Mary Brough (1863 - 1934). Her long stage career (from 1881) culminated with her becoming a stalwart of the Aldwych farces. She appeared in over 60 films including the silent classics Squibs and Dawn, and in many film versions of the Aldwych farces such as Thark and Cuckoo in the Nest.
