Born Yeadon. Yorks; age 47. Famous stage comedian. Made talkie debut in "Splinters," and since appeared in "French Leave," Tilly of Bloomsbury," "Up for the Cup," "Splinters in the Navy," and "Mayor's Nest." Recreation: golf.

 

Sydney Howard (1894 - 1946). Despite his popularity in the thirties and the twenty-odd films he appeared in, Howard is almost totally forgotten today. His most revived film is When We Are Married in which he played a drunken photographer.
